Friendly neighborhood salon

very bad cut

dont go to susan, i left there with a completely different cut than when i went in. i only wanted it taken up and she ended up butchering it. for someone who has really thick hair you dont offer short layers, it only makes is WORSE and that it did. i went to her b/c my first stylist up and moved out of state w/o my knowledge. nice communication. i had to go elsewhere to get my cut fixed and still it looks like shit.

Cute Salon - Bad Service

"I have been to this salon twice - my 2nd visit was a year later from my 1st. My 1st experience wasn't the best. I asked for a trim - just enough to get the split ends off - a simple enough request - and my stylist wasn't successful. I noticed when I got home, the woman barely took any split ends off. She spent A LOT of time talking during our appointment and I actually think she just lost focus of her job. The 2nd time around I asked the receptionist how much experience my stylist had. She told me 5 years, but when the stylist, Michelle, worked on me, it seemed to be her 1st day on the job. She seemed very nervous and was asking me what products I thought she should use on my hair, she didn't know how to mix color, and she wasn't sure how to use the color toner and needed to be directed. Also, the girl who helped Michelle mix the color was less than polite when I had questions about the type of coloring I should receive. Needless to say, they lied about Michelle's experience. Another note, while the place looks really cool, the lighting is terrible. It was hard to tell the true color of my hair when it was done and the down lighting casts horrible shadows on your face. If you go to a place to look beautiful, should't the environment help foster that feeling? That's part of what they're getting paid for afterall."

Avoid Vida Salon
